Born under the communist regime in Targu-Jiu , Romania at about 9:05 PM during a rainy evening of April, 1988.
I started eating, growing, going to school… I begun to like movies, music, everything related to technology and occasionally video games.
After a while I started getting bored with video games – actually my computer was kinda’ slow – so I soon started messing with my computer’s software and hardware.
Screwed my Windows 95 system beyond the point I could actually fix it for only two times before I could fix it myself.
Time passed by really fast and I was making my first Pascal apps that I used to mess up the computer network at my school.
)
After a while I got bored with deleting people’s data and I started discovering dial-up internet and that actually changed my life.
Before I knew it I was addicted to this new thing… It was very cool and I was one of the few kids of my age that were using it at that time in a small town like Tg-Jiu.
Soon after, I started working on my first static website(currentchaos.home.ro) and I was developing little applications that I was sharing on my website under my new “brand” name – CurrenTChaos
The next big thing that hit me was the fact that I could actually make money from that. I got my first 500.000 ROL(50 RON – about 20$ at that time probably) for a personalised keylogger.
Sometime after, Google Adsense launched and everything was great. I installed it on my website and after I received my first pay check from Google I got really into the internet thingy.
I started getting into dynamic websites when I was trying to create a little tool called Yonelule which was a windows application that allowed webmasters to receive messages from their website and also check the status of their website.
I was very ambitious at that time and soon after I finished with my first version of Yonelule I started implementing a web service for my Spyoutside application which was a keylogger. Any keylogging business was working quite well at that time and my service was actually growing and a few thousand people were actually using it though it ended very soon as the email notification system I’ve implemented on the service that was hosted on shared hosting – which was what I could afford at that time – blocked the freakin’ server and made me give up the idea.
I’ve started making my own mp3 player application - first called Gamermp3player and later Gamerm3diaplayer – which was quite interesting actually… My idea was to create a highly customizable player with a scripting engine inside that you could actually program to do certain things depending on what you were doing on the computer and a lot more…
After about 3 months of actually doing some work on the new version of the project I learned why backups are so important. Enough said.
To speed things up a little … time passed very very fast and I started doing some freelancing on rentacoder.com while in the meantime I was doing all kind of interesting stuff (like being a system administrator for a computer club in my town and selling a security restrictive app solution to a few)
Few years later after I finished high school I made myself a self-employed person (PFA – romanian) so I could legally cash money for my work. It was great.
Freelancing was great. I could plan and work when I wanted , what I wanted and the best thing was I was no longer in day-by-day school , I was in college… yup, that’s the life.
Anyway after about a year of lounging in Tg-Jiu I started getting bored and wanting more so I decided to leave Tg-Jiu and move to Bucharest for a bigger pay check and also because most of my friends were there in college… So I’ve started posting my CV on ejobs.ro and bestjobs.ro and soon found myself my first full-time job working as a web-developer.
Since August 2008 I’ve been working and living in Bucharest …
