Avatar (2009) – 6,5/10

I saw Avatar in 3d imax at Cinema City in Afi Palace Cotroceni Mall with some friends and my mother.

We were lucky to get  tickets for the weekend even though the position in the cinema wasn’t perfect (last row at the edge).

In my opinion Avatar is way over-hyped. It’s not a great movie… Far from it.. If you look past the visuals I think Avatar is kinda bad.

Nothing special about the visuals also.. I mean it looks great but I haven’t noticed anything really great in 3d (maybe that’s because of the bad position in the cinema) … I don’t know, maybe I’ll try to see the movie again in a better position but I don’t know if it will impress me…

This is also far from being a good sci-fi… It’s a sci-fi for the masses…

This is like the Twilight of sci-fi movies… Nothing memorable.

District 9

District 9 se anunţă ca un film foarte bun… Un sci-fi care sper să vină cât mai repede la noi în cinema.

Lansat în state acum câteva zile a şi intrat deja în IMDB top 250 … trailer-ul e drăgut… parcă aduce un pic a Children of Men şi HL.. hehe, abia aştept

Ca tot scriam mai devreme ca-i greu sa gasesti un film bun…

N-am vazut idiotenie de magnitudinea asta de foarte mult timp… N-am rezistat mai mult de cateva minute…

Nu-mi vine sa cred ca exista oameni care chiar se uita cu placere la asa ceva.

This movie is as much enjoyable as chewing your own testicles still attached to you. I don’t understand how one can be so talented to make such a disgusting movie. Congratulations this is one of the rare movies that I couldn’t watch to the end and I watch a lot of horrible movies during my work at the video store.

Bolt (2008) – 7/10

Bolt este o animatie-comedie destul de draguta cu multe animale, dragoste si toate cele …

Nu este un film exceptional pentru ca-i lipseste ceva… poate ceva mai mult umor? … dar cu siguranta este vizionabil!

Primeste de la mine un 7/10.
